Basic Pizza Dough

1 cup water warm, not hot
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
1 tablespoon cornmeal

Add water, oil, salt, bread flour, and yeast to bread machine pan in order suggested by the manufacturer.  Select dough/manual cycle.  When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine to a lightly floured surface.  If necessary, knead in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.  Roll out dough and place on pan or pat dough in pan.  Top with pizza toppings. Makes 2 crusts.



Bacon-wrapped Grilled Hamburger Steak

2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon catsup
3 tablespoons milk
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon rosemary
4 slices bacon (may need 8 slices)
 
Combine all ingredients, except bacon.  Mix thoroughly.  Shape into four thick patties.  Wrap around the edge of each on or, if necessary, two strips of bacon.  Fasten with toothpicks.  Cook on grill 4 inches from coals for 15 minutes or until meat is brown outside and light inside.  Turn often.

Lemon Sherbet

1 cup sugar
3 T lemon juice (I use fresh)
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 pint light cream (I used half and half)
2 drops yellow food color
Few drops Watkin's Lemon Extract

Mix together and freeze.
